Dr. Jody Lee is a proud progressive Osteopathic physician raised in rural eastern Oklahoma. He attended Northeastern State University pursuing a B.S. in Education (Biology), and then realized a passion for medicine; he graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine with his Doctorate of Osteopathy in 1998. He then relocated to Chicago to attend Midwestern University-Chicago’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he entered a dual residency in Emergency Medicine & Internal Medicine, graduating in the Class of 2003.
For the next 12 years, he practiced in Emergency Rooms and Hospitals throughout the Midwest. However, in 2015 the call of “home” was too much to resist. He returned to Oklahoma to work at the pinnacle of Emergency & Trauma Medicine, Oklahoma University Medical Center Level 1 Trauma Center, until 2017. After departing OU, he decided it was time to venture out and open a Private Practice.
Dr. Lee is board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. In addition, he is a member of the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association. He participates fully in Continuing Medical Education events, both as an instructor and as an attendee.
Most recently, an opportunity to serve the Worker’s Compensation System arose, which he saw as an investment in the future of Oklahoma. Starting in a small, established practice, his desire to improve the service within the industry drove him to start Lee Independent Medical Examinations, a practice devoted to providing the highest level of excellence for attorneys and adjusters representing employers and adjusters throughout the state.
